About the WID Lone Star Chapter

Women In Defense Lone Star Chapter is the Texas chapter of Women In Defense (WID), an affiliate of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA). We exist to engage, cultivate, and advance professionals in all aspects of national security by creating opportunities for connection, leadership development, mentorship, education, and service across the Texas defense community.

Our chapter brings together women and men from across industry, government, military, academia, small business, and mission-focused professional services who are committed to strengthening the future of national security. WID nationally positions its chapters as a way to expand local business and professional contacts, and chapter membership is part of WID membership with no additional chapter dues.

In Texas, that mission matters. The Lone Star Chapter is designed to be a platform where professionals can build meaningful relationships, exchange insight, elevate emerging leaders, support women in defense, and help grow a stronger and more connected defense workforce.
